Trader Joe’s Vegan Snacks You Gotta Try
Trader Joe’s has become a cult-favorite grocery chain for a reason. From constantly keeping its customers on their toes with new product launches to making a firm commitment to reducing its plastic usage for the benefit of the environment, this chain knows how to stay ahead of the trend. Trader Joe’s is known for its cheap and creative snacks.
Looking for a new place to grab some vegan munchies? You’ve come to the right place! Even if the parking lot is crazy, I’ve listed some Vegan Trader Joe’s munchies you gotta try.
Trader Joe’s Takis, Rolled Corn Tortilla Chips

These Trader Joe’s takis are chili and lime-flavored chips that are TJs version of the popular takis rolled corn snack. The ingredients are a bit healthier, the lime taste stands out a little more. These Takis knockoffs are the perfect savory snack during a session. Either add a dip or just eat them straight out of the bag! Additionally, I would recommend black bean dip or simply sprinkle some lime on top.
Crunchy Curls

Surprisingly, this snack is made from lentils and potatoes and tastes like a combo of Cheetos and potato chips. They are a perfect consistency and are very filling by themselves.
Rich with fiber, minerals, and protein, they make good soup, and apparently, pretty decent crunchable snacky things. I’ve always liked the taste of lentils. So earthy and hearty. They’re like meaty little vegetables. As healthy things go, lentils have just about as good a flavor as anything I’ve tried.
Sweet Munchie: Scandinavian Swimmers

Finding GOOD vegan gummy candy is extremely hard.
Although, these treats hit the nail on the head and they come in different shapes. Each unique shape has its own distinct and delicious flavor: the orange rockfish are orange-flavored; the blue dolphins taste like huckleberry; the yellow sea horses manifest mango-peach in your mouth, and the red lobsters are berry-not any particular berry, mind you, but all the best berries rolled into one.
Thai Vegetable Gyoza

This is one of my top 3 vegan Trader Joe’s munchies. They are best made in a pan with a sprinkle of oil or microwavable. Add some green onion or soy sauce for some more flavor!
Dark Chocolate Sunflower Seed Cups

A dairy-free DARK CHOCOLATE option? Must I say more? Find these hidden in the checkout area and grab a few, they go fast.
Vegan Banana Bread With Walnuts

A sweet and savory snack for the whole crew, you can’t go wrong with banana nut bread. Instead of collecting your overly ripe bananas, buy this Trader Joe’s treasure.
Very Green, Mango, Strawberry Chia

Lastly, smoothies are a perfect drink to have on deck. All of these 100% juice smoothies are refreshing. Although, my personal favorite is the strawberry chia.
