Top 5 Talking Heads of the Coronavirus Pandemic
The Coronavirus Decision Makers
Determining the Top 5 talking heads of the COVID-19 pandemic is not an easy list to come up with. Loud News Net knows the true heroes of this pandemic are health care professionals, grocery workers, and hundreds of other volunteers and good souled humans. However for millions of Americans the pandemic is a lot further from home, and the only interaction they’ve encountered with the reality of the situation is through their 60-inch Samsung SmartTV.
For some, there has been a group personalities, or talking heads, who have helped steer their emotions through this turbulent time. Many Americans have come to form strong bonds through the pixelated images of these individuals. In some cases, exalting those personalities enough to emblazon them on their favorite frosted donut.
Talking Heads have been with us for a long time. We have grown with them as they evolved from the days of fake coverage of the Gulf War to guiding the us through the tragedy of September 11th. In times of crisis like these, Americans absolutley love TV and the talking heads who show up in their living rooms. With a light heart and as a certified TV junky, Loud News Net presents our Top 5 Talking Heads of the Coronavirus Pandemic.
1. Dr. Anthony Fauci

This whole Coronavirus is a face palm
Why not start with “America’s Doctor” at the top of the Top 5? Dr. Anthony Fauci is an immunologist and physician who has become known to Americans through President Trump’s assemblage of experts advising him on all things Corona (hopefully). Despite his medical expertise, he most notably captured the hearts and minds of the left by facepalming during the daily Trump Comedy Hour. All jokes aside, he seems to be thoughtful and disciplined with the medical advice he has been providing. However, Loud News Net is hoping he is wrong about 200,000 deaths from the virus. Let’s hope he’s erring on the side of conservatism. For now, he has been a steady medical voice for a lot of Americans during this crisis.
Latest Update on Dr. Anthony Stance
Last year Dr Fauci had largely dismissed the theory that the deadly Covid-19 virus due to which over 165 million people have been infected worldwide and over 3.5 million people died so far, was genetically engineered and had leaked from a lab in Wuhan, China.
When Dr. Fauci was asked once again whether he was still confident that the coronavirus developed naturally he said: “I am not convinced about that, I think we should continue to investigate what went on in China until we continue to find out to the best of our ability what happened.”
2. Governor Andrew Cuomo

Is he our governor too?
Next on the Top 5, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, has been everywhere. You’d think he was running for President in 2020. Maybe he should. With daily briefings captured on major cable news networks, I wonder how many non-New Yorkers think he’s the governor of their state?
During these appearances, Governor Cuomo has been measured, urgent, but calm. An essential combination to help assuage fears as New York transforms into the new Wuhan. In between stories of him “cooking” meatballs for his family and raising the urgency on PPE and ventilators for New York, Cuomo has a wide enough range to appeal to all his constituents and even those watching out of state.
Latest Restrictions by Governor Cuomo
- New York, New Jersey and Connecticut to Lift Most Industry Capacity Restrictions Beginning May 19 Given Vaccination Progress and COVID-19 Case Decline
- Business Capacity Limits to Be Replaced with Space Available to Maintain Six Feet of Social Distancing on May 19 in New York and New Jersey
- Outdoor Social Gathering Limit Increases to 500 on May 10 in New York; Indoor Social Gathering Limit Increases to 250 on May 19 in New York
- Outdoor Residential Gathering Limit is Removed and Indoor Residential Gathering Limit Increases to 50 on May 19 in New York

More information reegarding restrictions are here.
3. Dr. Deborah Birx

Top 5: Birx puts things in perspective
Dr. Deborah Birx is the White House Cornavirus Task Force’s lead response coordinator. She has a long legacy of being on the front lines of the HIV/AIDS epidemic. During her daily appearances on the telly, she has urged everyone to remain calm and social distance. She has been criticized for it. Even though she has faced critics, she is probably best known during this crisis for her guilt-tripping story of her grandmother infecting her great-grandmother with the Spanish Flu. Her great grandmother ultimately succumbed to the 1918 Spanish Flu and her grandmother carried that guilt for 88 years. Keep social distancing everyone, that’s a lot of guilt to carry.
4. Joe Exotic

The world is watching…Netflix
He’s not the hero we wanted but is probably the hero we deserve during this pandemic. The Tiger King’s obliviousness to the world around him has inspired many to do the same. Pick up the chips and watch Netflix all day. Avoid the news at all costs.
In all seriousness, Joe Exotic reminds us all of a simpler time. He reminds us of a time when our troubles were no bigger than “Big Cat” cult rivalries, murder for hire plots and the careful balancing of polygamist relationships. As he has won the hearts and minds of so many, he is now using his new found Netflix fame to win a presidential pardon.
5. Richard Freison
Finishing the Top 5 with some authenticity
A personal favorite of ours closes out the Top 5. It was Richard Freison’s interview by Chris Cuomo on CNN that made my Saturday night. I don’t think Richard is a talking head. In fact, he provided one of the few genuine moments I’ve seen on TV during the past few weeks.
With the TV on as background noise, I couldn’t help but be captivated by Richard’s slight smile and peaceful demeanor. This man has just lost two sisters to the Coranavirus and is being put on the spot by CNN. In this moment, he holds his composure and focuses on the wonderful memories he has of his sisters and their amazing presence. After this, Richard tells the world that he can smile because his last words to both of them were “I love you”. Wow.
This interview really hit me. A perfect reminder that we can all get through this and not being able to get your daily Starbucks isn’t that much of a sacrifice. So take time to be kind to your fellow humans. We are all dealing with shit.
This concludes our Top 5 Talking Heads of the Coronavirus Pandemic list. Stay tuned for more from Loud News Net.
Stay safe and healthy everyone. Thanks for reading.
