President Donald Trump Refuses to Leave… and That’s Terrifying
During a press conference Wednesday, President Donald Trump flat out refused to leave the White House in the event that Joe Biden wins the Presidential election in November. This obviously shouldn’t come as a surprise too much because even before this newfound opposition the Republican party has recently started against mail-in voting, voter fraud and the entire act of voting all together, he has touted this exact sentiment – he is here to stay, and doesn’t plan to leave no matter what the results… and that is absolutely terrifying.
Again, fueling the flames of discontent with mail-in voting specifically, Trump claimed the ballots are a “disaster” and are “out of control” putting the blame on the Democratic party. Then, in truly dictatorial fashion, he added, “get rid of the ballots and you’ll have a very peaceful, there won’t be a transfer, frankly, there’ll be a continuation.”

His poor grammar and lack of basic comprehension of the English language aside, Trump is clearly painting a grim picture of what he think November will look like if he doesn’t get his way. A literal read into his statements suggest exactly that – if the results are not to his liking, there will be trouble.
Back in March of 2019 he told Breitbart that, “I have the support of the police, the support of the military, the support of the Bikers for Trump – I have the tough people, but they don’t play it tough — until they go to a certain point, and then it would be very bad, very bad.” By they, in case you didn’t know, he’s talking about anyone or any organization opposed to him, which includes “Antifa” (which doesn’t exist), Black Lives Matter protesters, democrats, liberals… ok, let’s just sum it up as anyone that doesn’t align ideologically with him and his supporters to a tee.
It makes absolute sense why Trump for the past 4 years has had bromances with proclaimed dictators and fascists around the world – they embody everything he wishes he could be. Vladimir Putin, back in March of this year, passed an amendment that nullified his term limit as president of Russia, which basically means #PutinForever has become quite a reality. North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un takes being a dictator to a whole new level, forcing people to believe things like he learned to drive at age 3, his father invented the hamburger, and he and the rest of the Kim’s are so superior that they don’t even have to poop like the rest of us… I couldn’t make this shit up even if I wanted to.
So join me in puffing this joint as we take a trip to fantasy land – let us imagine the two possible scenarios that could take place come November. The first, which at the moment seems unlikely as demonstrated by recent voter polling, is that Trump wins the popular and/or electoral vote. Now back in 2016, he lost the popular vote against Hillary Clinton, but clenched the electoral vote which won him the presidency. Even winning then wasn’t good enough – he argued that all the votes, and then some, that Clinton received more than him were simply a product of voter fraud. So if Trump’s behavior were consistent (which it rarely ever is), this first scenario would end with him making unsubstantial claims about whatever he doesn’t like about the results, even if he comes out on top.

Now the second scenario involves Trump not winning reelection at all. What that could entail exactly is really up in the air. Roger Stone, who advised Trump’s campaign in 2016 and was subsequently pardoned by the president after he was convicted of lying to Congress during their investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 election, told Alex Jones of Infowars (yep, THAT Alex Jones) that he thinks Trump should declare martial law if he loses and order the arrests of Mark Zuckerberg, Tim Cook, and the Clintons.
President Donald Trump in the past has never shied away from advising his supporters to use violence against the opposition. And he actually does have a lot of support from law enforcement for obvious reasons. The past 4 years have shown that his base is willing to not only believe just about anything he says, but they are even willing to act upon it. Remember when he was denying COVID wasn’t anything to worry about in early 2020? His supporters took to the streets to protest mask ordinances, but they had to do so with rifles strapped to their chests. Now imagine them doing the same but compelled by the idea that their savior didn’t just lose reelection, it was STOLEN from him.

Either scenario confirms that one thing is for sure – November is going to be a shit show. What is absolutely appalling about Trump’s current behavior is that it absolutely undermines democracy and the foundations in which this country was built upon. The right always claims to love them some ‘Murica, yet are willing and ready to tear it all apart if they aren’t satisfied with certain outcomes. Now, don’t get me wrong, I absolutely recognize that there are flaws in the system and I tend to entertain the feeling that my vote for president doesn’t count for much, but this “my way or the highway” thing Trump is pushing is, well, unprecedented. It’s not a bizarre concept in many South American and third world countries, but our founding fathers literally manifested our system in attempt to avoid such outcomes. What exactly is his endgame? What exactly makes him such a sore loser, so much so that he’s crying wolf long before the results are even casted? Maybe it has something to do with him possibly being indicted after he leaves office?
His base may hear his rhetoric and imagine president Donald Trump standing tall against what he has convinced them is an evil that needs to be defeated. But I simply see the whining of a little punk bitch. I can’t help but imagine him sitting in the oval office, arms crossed and child-like pouty face, muttering “I don’t wanna go!” between pursed lips. The true horror comes from the thought of who or what organization will be given the job of forcefully removing him. If left to some law enforcement related organization (such as the secret service, CIA, FBI, etc.) what would happen if a handful of them refused to do their jobs? Is the idea of some kind of civil war breaking out really that ridiculous?
Like a shitty reality show we will have to wait to see how it all turns out. But holy shit what an embarrassment. ‘Murica, we should be ashamed of ourselves. And voters on both sides of the isle should be terrified.
