Bomb the ‘Burbs Saturday Graffiti: Volume 1
I love graffiti. I was even a writer in the day (hopefully not toy status). So it’s with great pleasure to launch our latest Bomb the ‘Burbs Graffiti Day. The title is inspired by the classic counter culture book Bomb the Suburbs by William Upski Wimsatt.
This week’s and Volume 1 is by the homie ”Shape”. Shape is personal friend of Loud News, but I won’t disclose more than that. I’m not a snitch. You can find this piece up in the ”lovely“ town of East Providence, Rhode Island. Even more lovely now that Shapes as rolled through.
If you like this, be sure to send your submissions in for the next volume. Artist’s tag and location of the piece are all that’s required. I look forward to seeing the dope ness.
Keep it Loud
Thanks for keeping up with us. It’s been a crazy week. Loud News wants to always provide dope content, but we also want to make a difference. Check out our latest addition to the store below. Proceeds will go to Reclaim the Block in Minneapolis. Here’s a little more about their mission:
“Reclaim the Block began in 2018 and organizes Minneapolis community and city council members to move money from the police department into other areas of the city’s budget that truly promote community health and safety. We believe health, safety and resiliency exist without police of any kind. We organize around policies that strengthen community-led safety initiatives and reduce reliance on police departments. We do not believe that increased regulation of or public engagement with the police will lead to safer communities, as community testimony and documented police conduct suggest otherwise.”
Keep it Loud fam, and stay safe out there.
